HOW TO USE:
- When dealing with total lack of a tooth crown, before restoration begins, by means of glass ionomer reconstruct first on the screw the tooth “core” using polyester cones.
- Once the screw needed for crown restoration is placed in the tooth root, choose an appropriate cone size. To prevent formation of air bubbles in the filling, perforate top of the cone before putting the filling in.
- Fill the chosen cone with restorative material and place on screw. Now you can start a composite crown restoration around so reconstructed ”core”. The layer method with the application of polyester crown forms will be a perfect solution.
- The cones may be as well applied to protect the working field in a situation when you are not using the rubber dam. Simply cut out a small opening in the closed tip of the cone and push it down onto a prepared tooth.
